1. Scouting
Spend some time in the woods before the start of the season so you can be as prepared as possible before the opening. Look for habitat, turkey feathers and feces, feeding areas, and tourist routes. 3. Setup
Use your trail camera to imitate the birds and set your ground blinds accordingly. If they don’t call, it’s usually best to sit down and wait for them to go out; remember, you are hunting with a bow instead of a shotgun, so running and guns are much more difficult.
